New Made Item: This is a very high quality reproduction genuine leather scabbard for the WWII and post war Garand rifle for use with horses, jeeps and other military vehicles. From the style of the 1870's Winchester saddle carbine scabbards, these were termed the M-1938 and used in WWII to protect the weapons and to have them ready and at hand for immediate use. Fitted with the original early style all brass cocking handle cover, these make great display items and come complete with all straps and brass hardware. The best you'll find anywhere. Overall length approximately 31 inches. Non-Firing replica display rifle is not included.
